SUMMARY:Healing Body & Mind: The Transformative Power of Sacred Sound & Movement Meditation
DESCRIPTION:Experience introspective and ecstatic practices of the ancient wisdom traditions of the Yoga of Sound (Nada Yoga)\, Ayurveda (India’s herbal energetic medicine system)\, Qi-Gong\, and Sufism. This unique experiential workshop will journey deep into sacred movement and music chanting and spiritual mindfulness practices\, drawing from the hidden wisdom of the traditions of the East. SUMMARY:Music As Medicine
DESCRIPTION:How sound was used as medicine in ancient times in the East and how neuroscience now confirms the power of sound to heal. \nA lecture-demonstration on how sound was used as medicine in ancient times in India\, in biblical times in Israel\, as well as in the Ottoman Turkish empire.
