Award winning composer, world music artist, educator and peace activist Yuval Ron come together with Qawwali master Sukhawat Ali Khan of Pakistan to perform the ecstatic music of the mystical Sufi traditions, the sacred music of the Iraqi and Syrian Jewish traditions. Sukhawat Ali Khan is a master Qawwali singer who represents the family lineage of the 600 year old Sham Chorasi traditional school of music, which was established during the reign of Emperor Akbar of India. Joining the two is Jamie Papish on percussion.
