Award winning composer and world music artist Yuval Ron joins French singer and composer Catherine Braslavsky for an offering of exquisite early music songs and mystical prayers that come out of the pains of exile, both physical and mental. The enchanting tapestry of songs and prayers from early Judeo-Christian traditions inter woven with Sufi and Kabbalistic tales and poems of hope and splendor of Divine essence; an uplifting vision in the midst of troubled times.

French singer and composer, Catherine Braslavsky is specialized in Gregorian chant, troubadour music, and especially in the music of Hildegard of Bingen. She also studied Indian music and for six years, was a member of the Harmonic Choir of David Hykes. Catherine has recorded eight albums: Chartres, the Path of the Soul (recorded at the cathedral’s labyrinth); Hildegard of Bingen, the Marriage of Heaven and Earth; The Kingdom; and most recently, Pilgrimage, with the Terra Sancta choir, released byJade/Universal. From Jerusalem to Cordoba concert program has been shown more than 500 times in France, Spain, England, Italy, Switzerland, in the US, and in Costa Rica. For more info: http://www.naturalchant.com/

Yuval Ron is an award-winning composer and oud player, educator, writer, peace activist and record producer. Among his many honors, he composed the songs and score for the Oscar winning film West Bank Story, was featured artist Dalai Lama’s initiative Seeds of Compassion concert in the Seattle Opera Hall and the Fez Festival of Sacred Music in Morroco. His awards include the Los Angeles Treasures Award and prestigious grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, American Composers Forum, California Council for the Humanities and the Rockefeller Foundation. His TV and films scores include Breaking the Maya Code, Proteus, and The Spiral Staircase. Yuval has taught at Yale, John Hopkins University, UCLA, Middlebury College, MIT and many others. Yuval’s book Divine Attunement: Music as a Path to Wisdom won Gold Medal for Best Book in Spirituality Category in the Indie Book Awards 2015.
